Are there any restrictions on hosting events on Public Linden Parcels that are different from hosting an event on property that you own? I am talking about using the Public Parcels that appear in the add events for hosting a public event. I want to have an educational discussion event and don't need it to be on my own property or other group owned property. If I have the choice between hosting an event at a corner fish market or town hall, I'd rather have it at town hall. My question, may any Public Parcel be used for any PG event?

I believe if you aren't actually the reguistered owner of a given parcel, you can't actually submit any events in the linden-controlled events list.
There's no official written take on it I know of (except I know they stamp on anyone setting up vendors in teh sandbox), but I doubt they'd appreciate you using sandboxes for events.

I believe you can host events at any Linden public land. The Warmouth infohub - with a stage area and seating for 20 - may be just what you're looking for.
I just checked, and there's a whole load of 'public Linden land' available as locations, including the Nerditorium above.
