SIM Reservation Auction Clarification Needed

I purchased a SIM outright and have it up and running. I then decided to reserve three other adjoining SIMS. On placing the reservation, they all went to Auctions , which I subsequently won. My question is (as it is not clear on the website), if I now convert these reservations to Regions and pay the US$1650 (and tier to SL), will this SIM be the same as the one I purchased outright ? i.e. will I own it outright and have full terraforming (not the +/- 4 m allowed on other sims)....can I sell it and can I deed it to a group etc? Once purchased is it mine, or do I need o keep reserving it every 3 months?

This is all so very unclear on the website and SL & Linden are not replying to my emails and IM's. If the outcome of the transaction is not the same as buying a SIM outright to start with, what is the point?

When you use your reservation and purchase actual sims with them, they are full sims like any other island sim.
