I was messing with the settings on my sl and now I see and look funny all avatars just look brown and no skins
its not a ruth look
this happened once before and soemthnig has to be checked
help

Preferences / Graphics Detail - uncheck Avatar Vertex Program
Under Adv. Graphics - uncheck Enable OpenGL VBO if the above didn't help. It's hard to tell from your description though. If neither helps, try taking a snapshot, upload it to an imagehost (http://imageshack.us is one) and paste the link here  . |

are you on a MAC? A friend i was with the other night said my face was changing from rock to stone to wood textures and every texture was wierd. I think there is an issue with Mac and the latest upgrade. There has been mention of it here in the forums somewhere.
