My membership is due for payment today (sunday) and as of yet no payment has been made

I pay via PayPal, this is my first time I've renewed my membership this way.

Is payment applied to paypal from Linden Labs or do I have to manually make payment?

It's Sunday...that's probably the primary reason you've not had any billing.

Even with 2 years verified for me paypal account, Either LL or they do not wish for me to pay them, unless I have a balance on my Paypal account. Which is very strange because paypal lets me pay everyone else as is. I am assuming that if you have bought lindens before then it is no problem for you to pay with paypal, if you get an error or something then could be problems.

With paypal , you must be verified to be able to allow paypal to be used to pay LL...

This means that u have to give Paypal your checking accoiunt number and then they put in a nominal amoiunt and you write in what they added to your account. Only then you can be verified with paypal. And after that, LL will accept your paypal accoiunt .

Give it until tonight. They usually don't charge your account until the last hour or two on the due day.

My Paypal account is a verified UK business account.
I paid my first 3 months membership with no problems, LL requested the payment from my paypal straight away. I had no balance in my PP account it was taken out of my bank account. At the moment I don't have any balance in my PP account as I assumed that LL will request payments like they do with my old CC.
I have never bought Lindens from them always from SLX so I have no idea if I will get any errors.

Okies, I thought I'll try and buy some Linden $'s directly from them, I got an error message saying something like, Despite our best efforts something went wrong please go to website to check on status ... I clicked ok and webpage open and at the same time my test purchase was delivered.

My payment was due on a Sunday too. I had just enough USD in the account to cover the cost of both tier and payment. Guess what? They didn't bill it until midnight that night, I guess.

Even if they don't bill it tomorrow don't panic. My payment was due on the 1st of may and they still haven't billed be.
