Well maybe not quite lol.. I am, looking for something like a script or such that will make my face look more "glowey" It seems whenever I catch myself looking at my av ( which is quite a lot actually! LOL ) my face seems all dark and "shadowey" It would help with taking pics too Can anyone help point me in the right direction if there is such a thing? Does anyone even know what I am going on about?

I have made myself some earrings which glow red. Great for adding a red tint to my black hair and bathing those around me in a red glow. The colour can easily be changed to white or whatever to light up your face.
IM me in-world and I will help you out next time I'm around if you like.

Hi Tiana your best bet would be a wearable prim that emits light, lightening your avatar and erasing those pesky shadows in the process. Barerose sells a nice one for L$1 : it's a double invisible sphere that you wear (chest, pec or wherever), the upper one is red, at eye level, and the lower one is blue, for a nice blue light / red light effect.
However it's very easy to build one yourself.

I got a 'face lamp' at one of the Freebie Places I think (probably NCI). It's invisible, and attaches to your Av's nose IIRC. I'll check if it's copy/trans and send you a copy in-world if it is.

One thing to be aware of -- if you buy something that sheds light, buy it for yourself, don't buy it for what other people will see. *Many* people have "Sun and moon only" selected in their preferences; they have "local lights" turned off. If you use a light source, it doesn't do anything unless you have "local lights" turned on.
I switch between the two. I've found that "local lights" can sometimes cause my client's framerate to drop into the basement. I do like the effect, though.
I think the default is to have local lights off.
So, if you want to look better, you can use light sources to achieve the effect you want-- but even if you see it, many of the people you run into will not.

I could not find the face lamp at NCI in the freebie section (took all the scripts and gadgets). Any idea where I can find one a little easier ))) Thanks. Dmitriy

Adam n Eve usually includes what they've named "skin lights" with their skins. It is just like what people here have been saying... a prim that emits light. I generally only use it with metallic skins to make myself look more silvery. Cool effect tho.
