Error message: "Failed to bill youur account"

Hello! I really need some help here, if anyone can help me with it I apreciate it very much. Here's the problem:

I want to buy Lindens with my DEBIT CARD, VISA. I'm from Romania and yes, i have enough money on it and yes, manyyyyy days have passed since i filled my bank account. The problem is that on LindeX (linden exchange) the system doesn't let me to. It accepts my card information but it won't bill it. The error message is: "Couldn't purchase currency.Failed to bill your account. Please double check ur account's payment settings." The same error is in the game when i click on the Lindens Dollar sign to exchange money.

1)why doesn't it bill my card?
2)must it be a CREDIT card? i only have a DEBIT one.
3)if the error keeps appearing, what other sites do u know where i can buy lindens from ? SITES DON'T USE PAYPAL, cause Romania doesn't have paypal

If your debit card has a Visa logo on it then it should function as a credit card for online purchases. You can try this site, http://www.slexchange.com You have to make an account at this site and verify it at a slexchange atm machine in world. Go to the search button in world and type in slexchange headquarters to find an atm.

Another possibility...

In the past, there were problems with foreign banks accepting debits from Second Life/Linden Lab in the USA. Because of this, I believe LL established a payment center overseas, maybe London. It's worth checking into with your CC provider to see if they denied the transaction from Linden Lab.

Problem with this is slexchange doesn't tie in directly with your bank.. you have two choices with slx.. paypal, or send them a check or money order.

I bought Linden dollars there using my debit card with a Visa logo on it. Of course I live in the USA but I hope it works in Romania also.

Thank you guys for ur replies...unfortunately the problem isn't solved Ican't believe a country (i bet there are many more like Romania) can't put money in the game )) it's funny...and sad.

If anyone knows any other website where I can try to buy lindens, please tell me //// or if you know a person who may help me, maybe a Linden. Thank you!!
