Hi there
Not sure if this is the right forum, but due to lack of answers, things are getting a bit desperate!
Can anyone please advise, as Linden Help have failed to reply!
Since the last update a variety of issues have occured. The most disturbiing one for me personally is having a rental tenant not being able to use her land effectively. Prior to last Thursday update, she had 500+ prims available on her 12288 sq/m land which had 2812 prim capacity. Now it's full and returning items to her Lost and Found and then saying its Full again!!!
As she only has an above average sized house loaded with furniture, a swimming pool and a couple of small fountains on the entire land, its hard to imagine that even 2000 prims is being used (The House is 299 prim). I think this is another SL glitch since the update.
Can any knowledgeable community member please advise what we should do?

What you are seeing might be part of the database mess that's plagued SL since the 1.13 update--if so, there's nothing we can do to help you.
However--it may not be. Your rental tenant may be suffering from a griefer dumping masses of invisible prims on her land. If you have not done this already, go into the "Objects" tab of the "About Land" window and click on the button that shows the owners of the various objects on the land. If there are objects there not owned by you or your tenant (or by someone she's authorized to place objects there), return them.

Also check for temp-on-rez objects. They may not even be generated on that parcel, but a neighboring one. It seems that they are also an issue which sometimes causes problems, from what I've been seeing in other threads.

I'm the SIm owner and checked all the scripts in Estate Tools and the About Land/ Object owners. All but a handful of objects are assigned to the Tenant, which is correct. This is very frustrating, we pay a lot of money to Lindens for this sub-standard service!!! Its already pretty frustrating regarding the Search functions and Classifieds section......now this!

I also rent land, condos etc. In the 11 months that I have been doing this, I have not once seen an error with the About Land's prim count. Temp-on-Rez items can cause large numbers of prims to show up next to a name in the list - this is the only 'glitch' I have seen (it is not really a glitch - it does correctly display a count of temp-on-rez prims). I suggest you take a closer look. Add up the prims in all parcels of land on your sim, make sure that your tennant is not using a rezzer or is sharing the land with someone else. There is an explanation for the problems you are having - you just need to do a little digging to find it. -2fast

-2fast The SIM is half empy at the moment, total prim count over whole SIM is at about 30% of total allowed. The tenant had 500-600 prims left available before update......after update it became FULL!. She found out last Friday i checked the plot on Monday morning GMT. It was Full initially, then about an hour later there were 36 prims free (available) from no where. Later on that night, the tenant logged on and she found out that her Bed had been returned to Lost & Found. The Tenant was unable to replace the bed....as the Prim Count went back up to full again!! The only thing i can think of is that the a tenant over on the next plot is operating one of these weather systems that creates snow etc....some of which are falling on other plots. Would that hike up the prim count?

I hope not. *Most* weather generaters are particle based, and particles do not count as prims. Keep in mind that prim quota is has an aspect that is effective across an entire region/sim, does this tenant have objects anywhere else in the sim, or own any other parcels in the same sim that may be over quota?

Nope. she owns 3 x 4096 plots joined and has 3 x 937 prims (2812) and thats it....has not presence anywhaere else on the island. 1/2 the SIM is empty set aside for sale and rental ....and i have cleared out all objects from those, the other tenants which i have checked do not have any parcels. I can't see how an average house (299 prims) which is fully furnished can amount to 2600 prims as 200 are on the rest of the plot (swimming pool, fountains and trees) just is not possible.!! I did a rough room by room count yesterday and estimated around 1600 with building, thats about a 1000 less than what it is recording now Also looked at the scripts of which she has 200 (goldfish, doors, windows, TV, steamed coffee etc etc). just doesn't stack up. Went above into the sky......nothing there for 739 m over her land. Totally baffled. You were right, the weather system had no impact....just was getting desperate to find out the cause. I remember seeing it at 2300 prims last week before update as i had just become the Estate owner, so was checking everyone's land individually and clearing up plots that had left.

Exactly 937 prims per parcel? That sounds kind of curious... If you like, IM me in world later tonight? I'd be happy to try to confirm this bug with you.

Just to bring closure this thread... the problem wasn't a bug. (Beware rezzers called "eelgrass planter"!) We did encounter a bug while trying to find out why the parcel kept filling up, (unable to reproduce it) which erroneously reported the number of items in the parcel that were being sat upon, but it it turned out to be unrelated to the parcel full problem. (and thanks definitely go to the two Linden's that helped investigate!)
