Is there by chance a Greasemonkey wizard who could and would whip up a Greasemonkey script to expand all the Known Issue descriptions (that is, click on all of the "Show Repro" buttons) so that the the entire file's text can be searched efficiently?

You can view the raw source for the page and search that. All the hidden data is there in the source, although the formatting can be a bit ugly. It at least gives you a way to search on keywords without needing any special script to help. I'm not sure what browser you are using, but you can probably find the option in the contextual menu from a right click on the page.

I am aware of the ability for browsers to display a page's source. The result is, as you said, rather ugly looking.
I'm pretty sure a greasemonkey scripter could do this without too awfully much trouble.
