Dj's putting in Stream?

Hi,
Quick question looking for some thoughts and suggestions.

I own a sim. I rent out a parcel to a club. I have my own group the club owner is in.. and she has her own group that her DJ's are in.

The problem is none of her DJ's can put in there own streams. I see in her group that they have the ability to change the stream but none of them can.

Can anyone offer suggestions? Short of actually selling off a portion of my sim?

Thank you and this is my first post..

If your sim is set to your group, set up a role in your group for the DJ's. Only allow them the ability to change the stream.

Parcel streams can be changed by the owner of the parcel or by those in roles of the parcel-owning group who have the right abilities.

I gather that the parcel is owned by your group, but the DJs are members of a different group. That won't work to let the DJs change the stream directly. And I assume you don't want the hassle of maintaining your group membership to admit and eject DJs.

There are easy scripted solutions, however. As long as the scripted object is owned by the group (yeah: actually deeded to the parcel-owning group) it can change streams. So, somehow your club-owning tenant needs to specify to such a script which avatars should be allowed to change the stream, and then the DJs need to interact with the script to manage the streams.

This is basically a radio script, with the simple addition of being able to manage authorization. It must be a common (and, one should think, very inexpensive) product, but unfortunately I don't know one to recommend.

ohhh.. but if they are in my group.. they can change the stream on the parcel I've rented to her?

Hmm.. I'd be willing to do that... Just double checking that would work?

thank you again..

Alicia Stella Make a parcel station controller for about 375L that will do this.

You deed one object to the land's group, and keep one to yourself. Edit the one in your name and change the accesslist in the configuration notecard.

Yeah. You'd want to construct a role for them with the right ability... can't remember it off-hand, but I think it's pretty obvious in the list of abilities. Also, my experience is all with group-owned land, which I assume this is.

If the land is individually owned and just set to a group, I honestly can't remember if the same thing works or not. If not, you may need to go with the scripted solution.
