I know this may have been discussed before, but what is so special about roadside is linden will never build a road? I know no one can build next to you on that side, but since most are just little strips, what does that matter?

From: Ike Fairweather I know this may have been discussed before, but what is so special about roadside is linden will never build a road? I know no one can build next to you on that side, but since most are just little strips, what does that matter? There are already many roads on the mainland and I like them. Maybe one day those emptry stripes will be filled with a road as well. Would be very nice.. And yes, the matters has been discused many times before . Morwen.

I like having a roadside next door for several reasons:
1. I know nobody is going to build anything right up against my property line.
2. I like to build my skylofts so they hang over well onto Linden-owned land.
3. If they're positioned right, you can get a really nice view. I had one parcel at a the top of a "T" intersection of two Linden rights-of-way, and had 72 meters of land immediately in front of my balcony facing downhill that nobody could build on (the width of the first road, the width of the second road at an oblique angle, plus some extra meterage because the roads didn't intersect precisely but kind of blended into one another).
4. I have a neighbor on one side who will never complain about me.

And you know which side is the front of your property Many people follow roads while walking or flying because they don't have to worry about ban lines.

Well, I see a lot of people advertising *ROADSIDE*, but unl3ess it is a large area, I don't see much attraction to it or premium for it.

As for the smaller roadside lots, I think the rotating ad people like roadside because they don't have a neighbor on that side to block their ugly-ass ads. Yes, the attractions of roadside have been discussed many times. Roads are fun to use for exploring because you don't hit ban lines. And if you're brave enough to try to drive a vehicle on them, it's nice to have a roadside lot where you can rez your vehicle and get it on the road.
