I think the latest SL update seems to be... not as borked as usual. I know there will ALWAYS be those on $395 Wallmart Specials from 4 years ago attempting to play secondlife and will gripe that this version doesn't work for them when none of them did.
So, of those of you on decient machines, blazin net connections etc... How goes it? This update seems MUCH better to me.

Prim-count calculatiosn still borked.
||TargetOmega seems fixed. Search works (when they have it on). Island to Mainland connections working again (TP and Search). New keymapping "sucks" imo. New Focus structure "sucks" imo. Many people reporting inventory issues, but this seems to be stabilising as the assest server settles under the load. Problems as usually, but nothing catastrophic that's reared it's ugly head (yet *crosses fingers*) ~Jessy _____________________

Tested the TempOnRez yesterday... appears fixed - *YES!*
Chat box focus changes are annoying quite a few. Had a few of the dreaded "attachment is pending for that spot" errors... Overall, not too bad of an update. For me the chat box focus thingy is by far the worst. |

Since the first 1.13 update, most of my texture-rezzing problems had gone away; no more having to take-off-put-on clothes to get them to look right. Last night, howeverm I had to do exactly that 3 times and rebake textures once. I really hope that problem's not back to stay.
Also, while I was 'excited' about the focus updates on paper, I'm less than pleased with the implementation. If I'm talking with people in chat and IM I now have to click all over the place before I'm able to move my avatar. Driving me nutz. _____________________
