Hello All,
I just made my return to SL recently and am already having problems on my first day.
I found a shape / skin that I'm very fond of (the Chihiro Shape HUM) and was using with no problem until I tried to make my avatar more realistic by adding some nice nipples (from the Sex Kitten female nipples package). Sadly the nipple skin seemed to completely override my original skin, giving my entire avatar a different skin tone etc. than I had set.
I realize that you can't delete a skin and all that. I've tried double clicking my original shape / skin but even though it says it's "worn", it never shows up. It's like the other skin package overrides all others. I don't seem to be able to revert to it or anything. It's like I totally screwed over my avi in one little click.
Any ideas?

Hi Simone,
my guess is that the nipple texture has been added as a upper body tattoo modification to your original skin, right? In that case, if you don't have an unmodified copy of your orginal skin, I don't know of any way to revert this (unless you have the original upper body tattoo as a separate texture in your inv). The only way I can think of is contacting the skin's creator and asking for a replacement.
Never, ever modify skins and such without making a copy first.
Hope this helps,
Dylan

I purchased the original a second time thinking it would help. So I'd think it'd be the same as making a copy right? Whatever happened to the simple "undo"?

So it didn't help wearing the newly purchased skin? Hm.That's very strange. Maybe you should try the following: (1) Wear the standard SL skin (2) Edit Appearance, Skin, Upper body tattoo, select "None" and save (3) Then wear your new skin again. Dylan

Ok thanks a bunch. I fixed it. It seems what I was referring to was a shape & a skin, not just a skin. So I selected the default shape & skin, then selected the desired ones. Back to normal!
