I want to set my house to be my home location, could someone please tell me how to do that?

Sher Up at the top left tool bar under "World" I think is "Set Home location to here". Provided you either own he land or belong to a group that owns the land, that should do it.

I think there's an option in the group Abilities to allow/dis-allow setting of Home Point. Not sure as it's been a while since I looked.
Second, setting Home Point through group land has been bugged for some time. Not sure if LL "fixed" it or not.

You either have to own the land, or the land has to be deeded to a troup that you belong to and which you are in a role that allows setting home on that group's land, or you have to be on the mainland. (For example, anyone could set their home position at the Morris Sandbox).
If you are on private island land that is only SET to that group, and not deeded, you can't set home there unless you are the owner of the land.
