clothes rezzing from inventory

so for the last few days, I have found that clothing is not rezzing fron inventory. Attachments are, but noit clothes. I can't see it and others can't see it. I don't want to go walking around nekkiid.

I have uninstalled SL deleted the the cache, nothing seems to work.

Anyone else having similar issues?

I had that issue yesterday during a time of high lag. Or, I suppose I should simply say I had that issue yesterday as lag seems to be the norm nowadays.

My fix:

Put on the piece of clothing, take off, put on again, TP somewhere else.

If that didn't work:

Ctrl + Alt + D, Client > Character > Rebake Textures

If that didn't work:

Log off, start client and clear cache, shut down, restart, log in

If that didn't work:

Run errands, do laundry, clean the house, grumble a lot.

I'm having the same prob today--I couldn't put on anything. I could get dressed in a sandbox. If I tp elsewhere some clothes stay on, but my flexiprim skirt and shoe with "sexy walk" in it disappear. If I try to don other clothes I get a message saying that "items are pending" so maybe it's a loooooong lag thing? I never had this problem before (and I updated to the new viewer today--hmmmm). Please let me know if you figure it out!

IF your problems are related to the new viewer, there are a couple of basic steps that you should take to ensure maximum compatibility with its different demands.

* Update your graphics drivers. Seriously, this is probably the best step anyone can take to make sure this viewer works for them.

* Review your Preferences. This viewer installs a new profile of default settings, and there's no guarantee that the default selections are the best ones for your computer.

The clean install also wipes out your cache, so items that loaded quickly before may take a long time to rezz the first time. After that, the rez time may improve.
