You can buy L from third-party sources, in addition to the official exchange. SL Exchange, maybe apez.biz.... there are a bunch.

Unless SL is having technical difficulties it is definitely the fastest way to get L.
I have bought L from other sources in the past, and I think I remember it being more expensive and with a slower delivery.
So the only real advantage I see is if you have reached your limit.
Another way is to buy it from a friend thru paypal get a fair rate and quick delivery.
