Hi everyone... I am new to SL and bought some land on the mainland, it is green and park like, a few days later some hideous twirling neon signs popped up across the road (it is protected Linden road) and it took all the $Lindens I am allowed to buy as a new resident to purchase the little patches and put trees on them, is there anywhere I can buy more Lindens today so I can buy 2 more lots across the road to maintain the park feeling? Thanks in advance for any help or advice.

You can buy all you want on eBay. But you will be paying a higher price than you would if you could buy more on Lindex.

Buying those was a mistake, and only encourages them. there are a few "people" (I use the word loosely) who buy small plots and make them ugly and overpriced to entice people to spend large sums of money to restore their view. It is almsot always more cost-effective to simply move to a new region.

I took your advice and gave dfgames.com a hundred and fifty US dollars at 9 last night, after waiting several hours for delivery I asked to cancel the order and refund my bucks, it's 4:30 am now and still no refund, I'm being told I'll have to wait 'til the boss gets in. Aaaaaannnyway, I was able to buy enough Lindens at SLexchange tho and the transaction was handled quickly.

Hmm, this BBS doesn't appear to be threaded.... I didn't want to move. I like the neighborhood. As a newbie something I learned tho, always look for the tiny lots when shopping for undeveloped land. I joined the Arbor Project group after I bought property, I wish I would have seen their realtor ban list before I bought anything from anyone.
