Okay, sorry for posting in this sub-forum but its the closest I've found. I tried search both here and in SL and couldn't find anything so:
Does anyone know if there are any active Cthulhu related or Lovecraft groups. The "Lovecraftians" are apparently inactive.
Thanks.

Nope. I certainly wish there were something of this nature in SL. You're not the only fan.

By going to secondlife.com and typing Cthulhu in the search field, and then once the results are displayed, clicking advanced search and selecting Y to include mature content, the search returns the following: Groups Kids For Cthulhu!! Number of members: 23 Elder Order of Dagon Number of members: 3 The Cthulhu Cult Number of members: 99 Mythos RPG Number of members: 2 Parcels Gods & Monsters Zoe/24.8046/36.7265 Not Mature There's a free set of inworld Lovecraft books at SLB at http://www.slboutique.com/index.php?p=buy&phrase=scripted&n=5&itemid=10687&nh=1&user_avatar_id=147 Possibly the person offering these free inworld Lovecraft books might know if there are any Lovecraft groups or activities in SL.

You could always start one-- you only need two people to start a group now. I bet there'd be a lot of other people interested in joining, depending on what the focus was-- roleplaying, book discussions, etc.

There is also a Statue of Cthulhu available, I belive it was one of Starax's creations, ant there is also a Cthulhu Avatar (A griefer once wore one to a Sim i was on, it looks good, too bad it housed a Jerk. Lol) If you are Interested in just about anything, It's in SL.

It's always been my dream here in SL to open a Lovecraftian RP area or island, sort of like City of Lost Angels or Midian, only based on the mythos. Maybe someday ...

I recent took a similar piccie: http://www.sluniverse.com/pics/pic.aspx?id=148918Dat one looms in Kelham. Visit the Fhtagn sim, too. Very mythos in tone, and right next-door to Ryleh. Mari
