I was standing in a visitor center yesterday, trying to get my hair and shoes off my ass, when SL crashed on me. This was the third time within 2hours.
I did not relog in - too frustrated. About 3 hours later, this is the message I get when trying to log in again.
SECOND LIFE CANNOT BE ACCESSED FROM THIS COMPUTER. What???
So, I clean up the cache, uninstall and re-install, create an alt - still same message, do a virus scan and do a general clean up. Nothing is working.
What's up with this - any insight folks?

Someone made a post just lately that sounded much like yours. Unfortunately I don't recall who it was or even which forum. I believe they did find a way to resolve the problem. Perhaps someone else reading will be able to find that thread.

No you are not banned (to my knowledge), sounds like a technical issue. (LL would email you if you were banned).
What type of video card do you have?

Do you have more than one version of SL installed, like the First Look client of the Beta Grid client?
If so I'd try uninstalling all of them and then reinstalling the regular client.
There are a good many reports of this spurious message that is intended for folks that are banned. In the responses I read some folks say uninstalling and reinstalling works, others say to contact support, both by email at [email]support@secondlife.com[/email] and by phone.
In the particular thread I was trying to remember earlier and now found, the poster said they got the problem resolved by contacting support.

Any luck resolving this? I am having the same issue and unfortunately...phone support is ...weill not happening. I am on hold right now 'wait time is 5- 6 minutes'. Then after 10 they put you thru to voice mail. This is a rather frustrating process as my rent will expire and a business deal may fall thru if i can't get in soon. So much for a premium account in which I hoped would prevent these types of issues.

WOOT! I'm in!!!!!! I disconnected my modem and router for 30 minutes. Uninstalled everything related to SL on my computer. Reconnected (changing which plug my computer was in on the router)...redownloaded...and tried to log in...holding my breath...crossing my fingers and not really thinking it would work....and boom, I'm in. OMG what a relief...and oh yeah......no support yet.
Just help from some wonderful people in the forums ... thanks all!
