First of all... I just wanted to say thank you to everyone out there. You folks have been so helpful to me, I cannot express my appreciation!! So onto my next question How do I edit my purchased hair so that I don't have tiny little bald spots showing through? I haven't a clue what to do when I click on the edit button. Thanks!!!

This is usually caused by the hair not quite fitting to your avatar's head. This is inevitable in some cases because every avatar is different. If part of your hair is actually inside your head, rather than on it, then your head shows through. The easiest way to fix it is: stand on a posing stand if possible (this keeps your avatar in one place while you edit), right click on the hair and "edit" it, and then use the arrows that appear to adjust the hair until it's all on your head.

Indeed, a posing stand is excellent because avatars tend to move around so much. If you want a freebie one IM me in world and i'll send you one. When you get hair and click wear, it almost always goes to the right spot. However since all avatars are different they don't quite fit right. Like others have said editing your head size definitely helps. Also, when you click on it and select edit use the position, rotate, and stretch options. They are little circles you click in edit mode to decide where you want the hair, the rotation of the har, and its size. You can only edit its size if it is modifiable though.

Usually to make it work you can either adjust your head a little bit or edit the hair while it's on your head (edits a copy!!!) an move it up just a little. Some won't fit at all though. And some designers will give ya more than one size.
