When i'm flying around shopping my hair floats in front of the screen so i can't see where i'm going. Is this a bug or should i talk to the hair designer?

Hello Deborah, hair behavior can vary a lot depending on how it was made -- I'd ask the designer, and I'll move this to Resident Answers if there are other tips.

When you fly, try scrolling all the way out from your av into 3rd person view. Hope this helps.

It isn't just that hairstyle.

I have noticed for some time now that if I am in mouselook, even when I have the prefs option for 'show avatar in mouselook' turned OFF, I occasionally see parts of my hair or my head attachment prims (furry avatar head) while flying around. The workaround for me has been to drop out of mouselook and then return to mouselook.

It isn't the whole prims that I would normally see if I had 'show avatar in mouselook' turned on. It's bits and pieces of my muzzle and cheek fluff and hair, partial prims, sort of like what I see if I mouse my camera around to a position slightly inside my own head. Very odd.

No I mean, scrolled OUT, as in show your entire av and scroll away from your av, so that you see yourself. It's not always fun for 1st person players, but then again, it's better than hair in your face. :)

You could just chalk it up to realism. After all if you were flying without a plane RL your hair would be blowing in your face. ;)

Don't forget on a shopping related note you can just use your camera to shop without moving. Lot more effecient and easier than flying around tall displays.
