Can I still buy first land at L$512 per 512 sqm? where? how?

As in the topic... Can I still buy first land at L$512 per 512 sqm? where? how? I see old posts from 2002 about the program, but cannot seem to find the way to buy land.

where can I buy land cheap? I am a premium member, but only need 512sqm for now

First land no longer exists.

You can buy 512sqm of land, but you really need to take your time and look around to find some you like. Take a look at the new continent to the east, there should be plenty available there.

Unfortunately, the First Land program ended several months ago, largely due to certain people gaming the system. So, you're not likely to find a small, 512m2 plot for $L512.

That said, the Lindens did just release a large chunk of land in the past couple of days. Usually this means that land prices will fall for a couple of days. Keep looking at the Land Tab in-world--you might get lucky and find something for around $10L per m2 (and if you're REALLY lucky, maybe even less). You just never know when someone will get fed up and sell out at a low price.

thanks for a speedy reply, but in the =in-land= tab I only see about 30 auctions... no other land sales - does it mean I look in a wrong place or is it just empty now?

You are sorting by auction. Sort by "For Sale-mainland". Also you have to have the $L per sqm. row checked. The other search listings are not working (for example, you cant search by name).

try using your map to search for land. Tick the box for land sales. start shopping

Land for sale will show up as yellow areas with dollar signs...hover your mouse over the dollar sign to check prices...right click and teleport to view the land in person.

use the map to find areas on the map that you might be interested (shore, mountains, anything away from casinos a dn large groups of people..LOL)

Haven't heard hadly a peep about them since they bought 4+ sims and tried to set up a program similar to First Land, but the real-world realty firm Coldwell Banker was, at one point, making 512 M2 lots available to qualified first-time SL Premium account buyers, at a below-market rate. The catch was that you have to pay a deposit fee as well, so you don't flip the land in the first few months.
