Q- SL-Voice Beta-I can't log into it, just stays frozen at connecting to region during log in ???

Q- What's the best video card for SL ???

At this time, the beta grid may still be down. They lost a log-in server today, see the blog.

1) don't know.
2) Depends, are you on a notebook or desktop? For desktops, IMHO the best graphics cards are any NVidia GeForce 8000 Series; and for notebooks, any NVidia GeForce Go 7 Series.

Has nothing to do with grid status. Have been trying for a while to log into SL Voice, just gets to connecting to region???? Have reinstalled a few times also.

OP: Sounds like you need to change the login region for it to work. To do this, go to the login menu, preferences, general and check the box that says, "Show Start location on login screen." Then go back to the login screen and on the pull down put in Ahern, since that's the region that is mostly up during any beta. Should help some, I hope.
