I want to deed my land to a group with two persons in it.

When I try to deed it I get the next message "Deeding parcel failed because the group does not have enough land credits".

Should I mark the "Owner Makes Contribution With Deed"?

(And yes, I know officers in the group can sell the deeded land. But if that may happen, I will have my RL bed for me alone :P :P :P).

Deeding land to a group

Hi Morwen!

Tricksy group land can be. I had the same problem with ours. Your problem is that you must have more tier than you wish to deed. So you must "tier up" in your account settings (which will cost you some tier fee money, even if it's temporary), or get another member of the group who has tier to spare to deed it to the group.

Okay, just to be sure... The monthly fee for the land will stay on my credit card completely and we have both have the same rights to the land?

Wrong. If you tick the "make contribution with deed" box, the tier gets transferred at the same time as the land, obviating the need to double up on your tier.

Yes the land will be billed to you if you donate the tier to the group when you dead the land to group.

What rights you will have will depend on what rights you grant to the group members in the group settings. If you are both Owners of the group you should have full rights. You could set the other group member's rights to a lesser level if they are not an Owner.

The new group features give you alot of leeway in what rights and powers you grant to Group members.

Only if you are buying the land for the group, if you have already bought the land, you must have the additional tier.
