My MacBook Pro runs SL just fine. Two older IBMs laptops don't run it at all. A newer but cheap Toshiba laptop runs it okay but motion is jerky. My question is, what is the minimum configuration for a Windows laptop to run SL adequately?

You might want to post this question in the Technical Issues forum, but the answer is not that different from the System Requirements posted in the SL web site. http://secondlife.com/corporate/sysreqs.php Whether you have a laptop or desktop, the essential components are processor speed, graphic card and RAM. Unlike LL, I recommend at least 1gb of RAM to make SL playable on any computer; 2gb is better. |
