Immortal "New Folder" ?

One of my accounts acquired a "New Folder" somewhere along the way that cannot be deleted nor renamed, nor have anything put in it. It appears on three different client installations, so it's not a cache thing. Anybody else have one of these?

(I'm reluctant to file a support ticket, for fear my Inventory will be "fixed" beyond repair, and it's more a mystery than an annoyance.)

Can you drag and drop it to the trash folder? I've successfully deleted a few immortal items that way.

Strap some C4 explosives to the side of your computer and blow that son of a bitch up. Wont get rid of your immortal 'new folder' because its immortal, but blowing things up is cool

Thanks for the suggestions. Well, for those keeping score at home, it's Immortality 2, C4 and Trash Folder 0. It's way tougher than that!

I did misreport, though: one can put stuff in the immortal folder, but the folder itself can't be put in any other folder (including the Trash).

Also, while playing with it, I realized that it's not only immortal, but also delusional: it thinks it's a system folder--when sorted with system folders to the top, it floats. Not that this is of any practical use, but maybe the mysteries of SecondLife will unveil themselves as we uncover new anomalies (rather like studying brain trauma patients to figure out which hunk of cortex does what).

The only way to get rid of an immortal folder is to drive a wooden stake through it's heart.

Have you tried renaming it and then stuffing it full of garlic flavored objects?

And I can't blame you on not wanting a support ticket on this. *shudders*
