Hi all,

I'm having a problem with permissions and I was just curious if anyone was having the same issue or knew a fix. I tried contacting Live Help a few times to no avail so here I am.

I am the HR Manager at Sublime Restaurant and I have staff packets that include items I mark as no transfer. If I log out and back in or even come back later to my inventory, the items are all marked as transfer as they were originally.

Is anyone having this problem? Am I doing something wrong and missing what it is? lol... Any help is appreciated.

You didn't mention what you were setting permissions on (full inventory items versus something that can be rezzed in-world - in which case you actually need to set its permissions when it's rezzed, don't do it from inventory or you'll run into problems), or if you were using the main viewer or the second viewer.

A staff packet sounds like inventory items put inside of a box? If that's the case, you'll need to rez the box in world and mark each individual item in the prim's inventory as no transfer. Setting a prim to no transfer doesn't actually change the permission of anything inside of that prim.
