Do you have any HUD's attached? If you're not sure, do a detach all and see if it goes away.

It looks a lot like one of the HUD's I have that goes into "ghost" mode when you're not actively working with the HUD itself.

This time when I logged in it was not there. Very spontaneous. If it shows up again, I'll try detatching everything. Thanks!

That kind of looks like a shadow from a window that is open and minimized. It does that to me sometimes when I have the map opened and minimized. I'm not sure though; SL is acting weird today.

That is the "console window" enabled and disabled from the client menu. Though I think there is a hot key for it, or a setting on the preferences. You probably accidentally turned it on and off when trying to do another key command...

Just letting you know that you're not alone. :-)

I've had that a couple of times and not sure what I did to cause it. It seems to be some sort of ghost window...as if I tried to edit a hud and the resized window never went away....even though I didn't edit anything.

I've tried to stay on SL with it, but it doesn't allow the mouse to opoerate in that area (using the Camera) and uis very annoying.

Re-logging was the only way I could clear it.

sorry MadamG, I don't have an answer but I just wanted to express condolences for all the trouble you seem to be having lately ( I have seen your posts on some other issues in the forum recently) - hope things take a turn for the better soon.
