Is there any way to re-set an attachment (say body part) to it's original state if it happens to get moved out of whack on the body? This is driving me nuts!

Probably not.... the position is normally saved when you log (crashes excepted lol!) Without knowing what and where, it's bit difficult to advise... IM me in world and I can try helping :)

The position is saved on detaching the object from your body. If you accidently moved it, don't take it off; right-click your avatar, select "Appearance", click on "Make Outfit" and select only the checkbox for the attachment spot of your object. Detach the object and re-attach it, out of the newly saved folder. Et voila - it has the old position again.

This is about all the attachments moving to your bum isn't it?

I thought it was about attachments accidently moved out of position by the wearer. If it's a bug, just detach and re-attach.

I think you can also edit the position while wearing it..or are we talking about the shoe in bum thing?

If you mean something like you bought a necklace and its sticking out of your chest, you can edit its position like any prim while you are wearing it. Just right click and choose edit..move it to where you want it and when you detach it, it will remember and next time re attach to the new correct spot.
