Anyone else ever buy land, deed it to the group WITH contribution to group credits and then get charged for the same plot twice as both my land and group land?
I tried to contact live help as my contribution disappeared after my tier was paid (the day after) and I could not ungroup it or add the contribution points back into the group feature. My land was being counted as 2 plots, one under my land and one under group. The group land however had no contribution after tier was paid so would have been repossessed by gov linden after midnight maintenance for not having the group credits.
I contacted live help, they told me to contact billing tomorrow. I would have lost my land in the meantime. So, I sold the land to a friend (making her eat the tier she just gained) thinking this would at least get the land in someone elses name who would only be charged for it once. Not so, instead it stays in "my land" and her "my land". So now both of us are being charged for the land but only one of us owns. No, I don't just mean my teir fee for the month, I mean in "my land". I realize I'd be charged for the month tier because I had land in my possession in that time frame BUT...it still says I had double the land I really owned and no, I didn't buy more property during the month. I never had more than the 8704 I apparently still own even tho it was purchased from me.
Any suggestions on what to do here? I can't buy my store land back or I go up to a $75 fee because it believes I still own the land!

Have you previously removed land from the group? A very common mistake with group land is to remove land from the group, not realising that the credits contribution does not go with it. Then, when you deed some new land and "make contribution with deed", you put extra credits into the group even though it doesn't need them, thus getting charged a higher tier than you might have expected.
Land showing up twice in My Land is almost certainly a bug. Bug Report it.

This definitely sounds like a bug.
Good luck! Let's hope that the system doen't screw around with the land and repossesses it!

I had someone with a near identical question the other day, it took a while but it got all sorted out, although it's far easier to do this in-world . ----- http://secondlife.com/account/Allowed holdings: x square meters Current holdings: y square meters Available for purchase: z square meters ----- http://secondlife.com/account/groupland.phpTotal Donated Square Meters: x ----- Current holdings is - unintuitively enough - the m² of mainland that you own, discounting any group-deeded tier. This number should match the total for http://secondlife.com/account/land.phpAvailable = Allowed - Current - Donated Then go in-world and verify that you're seeing all the same numbers there (World / My Land gives you Current, the sum of all your contributions gives you Donated, and the difference between current donated tier and maximum allowed gives you "Available" in case the site is out of sync. Make sure you're not mixing private island plots with mainland plots in your groups, they still don't make that work reliably and sometimes it'll just see private estate land as mainland for tier, so they both need to be in separate groups.
