I think no replies because it looks more like an ad then anything because a merchant is singled out with a link to purchase instruments. Just my guess I saw this before and didnt post because to me it looked like an ad

Have you thought about checking out the different musical events and groups and see if you could possibly make friends with other fellow musicians who might be interested?
I know its bit hard to connect at first any where sometimes in SL or in certain circles with very busy people but I think if you got to know who was out there and possibly made more friends in musical circles it might provide you more options to collabrate with others in a band. I have no musical ablities personally but I have friends who do. My friend is quite well known in classical music circles and I have few other musical inclined friends but I am not sure if they have lot time right now they are quite busy or I hook you up. Though I did mention the band thing once but in order to do band "live" in several different locations it would be take bit of technical know how the friend I mentioned to it didn't have.

I think she specified Robbie's instruments because you can actually compose and play on them. I have a flute, could give it a shot.
