About a month ago around the time of an update i've been crashing and its been getting worse. At first i would crash, rebot the computer and be able to get back online. But it has gotten progressively worse. I am no longer even able to move out of my are with the crashing happening. What happens with the crash is this: the whole screen freezes, some seconds after it freezes i get the blue screen of death. I've tried everything my computer tells me to fix the problem but am still crashing. Someone anyone, please please help me! I've not been able to log in at ALL in two weeks! please as fast as anyone is able, please help.

OK, when this started i completely cleaned out the computer. Deleted all cookies, cleaned the cache, deleted all unnescary programs. I have unistalled sl, and reinstalled it several times. Have tried going back to a restart point. Have updated all the drivers. Put a gig off memory in. I didnt have any problems, besides the usual SL problems. This si a completely new one for me. I have no idea what to try now. Have requested linden help, but guess what? They still havent responded:) So am willing to try anything now. Everyone is telling me it is the graphics card, but why would it all of a sudden stop working like this after all this. Please help, please! It's killing me not knowing what is wrong. If you need anymore info please, dont hesitate to yell at me for it:) thankyou thankyou thankyou

It's wednesday pretty soon Jacks. LL has announced that graphics issues will be solved, expecially for older graphics cards. Maybe other crash probs will be solved then too. However, I don't hold my breath for it.

*rolls up sleeves* Okay, lets do the simple fixes first.

1. Try clearing the cache. To do this, go to preferences/network to find it. Reboot the computer and then the game.

2. Try logging into a different sim. To do this, go to preferences/general and check the box next to, "Show Start Location in Login Screen," and then back out of it. At the login screen, use the pull down to put in another sim, say, Pooley. Log in.

3. Check your video drivers. Sometimes those affect some of the darnest things, such as uploading. If you know the kind you have, go to the manufacturer's website to download the latest. (BTW, if you have a Radeon or other sort of ATI, then you definately want to check their site, since they have a new driver version recently.)

4. If none of these work, we'll need more info such as OS, video card and such. Example, it was long known that Windows Vista and SL didn't get along if you had a ATI graphics card. See number three on that, because the newest drivers help with that problem.

Hope some of this helps, because past this, my technical skills are a bit rusty.
