Spikes

Hi,

New to SL and wondered how I get rid of the spikes out of my arms, no matter how I change my shape I have these spikes when I look at myself at certain angles.

Can anyone help?

Oh and is first land really available anymore? i keep searching everyday and nothing.

The spikes problem you're describing sounds like a graphics driver problem. I'm pretty sure I've seen solutions to that problem here before, but off the top of my head, I'm not sure what you have to do. Have you upgraded your video drivers already?

Also, regarding first land: It sells out quickly these days. Linden Lab does try to create new first land from time to time, but no, it's not always available. Don't pass it up, though, it's the cheapest land you'll ever find in SL. I recommend you check the land listings every day.

Oh, one more thing. There is a LOT of abandoned land scattered around the grid that currently belongs to 'Governor Linden' that could easily be converted to First Land if the Lindens just knew where it was. I've seen people post the coordinates of these abandoned plots in the Second Life Land Management forum, and they usually get converted pretty quickly, often on the same day.
