Hi all - I am shopping for my boyfriend and wish to put the gift into the gift box I have. The only issue is, don't I need to find a gift that is transfer OK to put in there? If that's the case, can anyone recommend a good place for gifts for that special guy - with transfer permissions? I am completely at a loss for how to find anything...
Or, might the store owner give me a gift with transfer OK so I can put it in the box?
Thanks in advance...

Thanks in advance... If you want to give a gift to someone else, it has to be transfer enabled. You could ask for a transfer/no copy version from the creator, but in my experience most are not willing to offer that; they have the perms set that way out of personal preference. However, many creators are willing to help you out by transferring the gift directly to the receipient upon receipt of L$ from you. I'm afraid I can't help you with gift ideas, though. Like rl, I avoid shopping at all costs

Similar to a question in another thread, if you put a no-transfer item into a full-permed box, then take it into your inventory with the intent to give it to someone else, then you will find that the box is no longer full-permed, but has taken the most restrictive perms of all its contents. So, no, you can't transfer a no transfer item to someone else that way; in fact, you can't (and shouldn't be able to) do it at all. That's kinda the point of no-transfer.

Well as my question indicates, I had no intention of giving a gift of a no transfer item...
My question was to clarify if I was correct in assuming I would need to use a transfer item and then to ask for ideas as to where one might find decent tranfer gifts...
I found something that works just now. It's not terribly high quality but it's the thought that counts I guess.

you were correct in assuming you need it to be transferable
also make sure the gift box is transferable and not just a display decoration item (I make xmas gift boxes that are xferable so ppl can use those for xmas gift)
as for ideas hmmm depends on what the person likes hehe
