I am just wondering...

Ever since the brilliant idea to alphabetize textures come along, thing have gotten from bad to worse.

Now when you create a new garment, it do not even show up on you avatar.

Is there any fix for these inventory problem in the near future?

Are we to sit around struggling to create an outfit for hours in what could take minutes?

Am I the only one having this problem?

even when I search for a texture I have just upload (mind you the ability for your just upload texture to be at the top of your texture list went away with that alphabetizing "feature";) by it exact name - it take 2-5 try before it even come up.

Please do not post any work around. Believe me, I am try them all. But shouldn't the system for clothing creation, texturing prims and so on be actually working?

And when is the forum code going to be turn back on? so much for our SLurl, fashion blog link and so on.

I think to suggest that LL hates clothing designers is an unfair comment. You know what.. we all have little problems in Second life.. just like real life and sometimes we just have to pull our heads in and try and work with what we have...until fixes are made possible.

If you are having a major problem with something in SL...why dont you make a report to the bug tracker,, or look for your problem and add some votes to push it up the line a bit.
Remember, just because a problem effects you, doesnt mean it was intentionally directed AT you.

You dont need your inventory to alphabetize, theres an option to have it list from most recent Date Added and on.

Client/Debug Settings, select TexturePickerSortOrder from the pull-down menu, and change the value to 1, which is sort by date.

I think others have posted elsewhere about problems searching for exact words in Inventory (I'm certainly having probs - must check JIRA!). What I've found is that if you put in the full word (e.g. "heart";) it won't find it, but if you then delete a letter off the end (i.e. "hear";) it finds it... Very strange!

*ponders* I gave up on using the search feature on the texture picker. Takes entirely too long and I have the attention span of a caffeinated ferret in front of a dozen shiny things. I usually just have my inventory open to the texture I want and drag it over onto the little box that the image goes in. I just wish we could do this while we're uploading without having to use the rename workaround.

For the past week or so, every time I click on a texture in edit to try and find it in my inventory I get the "Could not find" notice on the edit window.

I'm wondering if this is a known bug that will be fixed, or whether its going to be staying that way because an update has come out since this bug started and it wasnt fixed.

Is there a work around that designers are using to get around this bug? If so, please let me know because with thousands of textures it gets really hard manually finding textures, especially when many of them look similar.

I really hope this gets fixed soon.
