Okay...so i have added the person who is renting my land to a group and then deeded the land to the group, with me as the owner holding the power to sell the land etc. How do i ensure that i actually get the money? I have also noticed that when i checked my land it says that I won 461m as opposed to 512m. Why is that?

Surely all 512 is now owned in common by the group?

I would not have advised deeding your land to group if your only goal is to provide rentals. You can, after all, simply SET the land to group, which enables you to provide them with build permissions but doesn't give them any ownership to the land itself. That's what I'm doing right now for my one renter.

I'm new to estate land management, so would welcome any insights into this issue. But wouldn't deeding land to a group mean that land sales would be distributed among the group members?

Also, be careful of having the group dissolve if only one member is left. I've read forum posts where residents have lost their land under that condition. As insurance, I created an alt AV and made her a member of my group. That way there would always be at lesat two members.

Yes but is it true that you can create roles (say for a tenant) and then uncheck the abilities that you dont want them to have? (ie, selling the land) That's what we've been doing.

The game automatically credits the group with the 10% bonus. Your group can actually own 512+51 m2 of land without being billed for additional tier. If you only own 512, the game automatically notes a reduction of your contribution.
