It's only a couple of days since we saw the arrival of Corsica on the map and already the land auctions and sales have begun, in fact the first buildings have appeared I guess indicating the first successful sale. They don't hang about at Linden, I just wonder if they can deliver my Island with such efficiency.

Anyone out there seriously thinking of a purchase or possible relocation to Corsica bearing in mind the beautiful wide open spaces we saw earlier this week probably won't remain that way too much longer ?

I'm not buying any land until I see where this casino storm leads. Of course I would like to gamble on land prices improving, but that would probably mean my land would be confiscated.

When did Corsica sell? I was trying to have a look about 12 hours ago but it was still all for auction.

I wouldn't mind a nice little spot on one of the mountain tops if they don't go for $25L a meter. :) I'm disappointed they went back to the old beach texture they used before Nautilus though. Maybe I'll get used to it.

I'm only guessing plots have sold..there's a whopping great building perched 'atop' one of the peaks and a small collection of houses with various bits of 'furniture'. Various plots are up for sale..down in the SW some smaller plots at reasonable prices and a few larger going right up to region size. It's a 'watch this space' moment I think :)

Just checked the map in-world, and visited to confirm. There is definitely land for sale now in Corsica.

Unless you are planning to buy a large plot of land, I would avoid then new sims and look for plots in more established sims with less land for sale and neighbors who have been there awhile.

I was a land broker for a year and I have never seen ad plots as bad as they are now. It's unbelievable how many spinning signs for the same crappy products and websites a person can fit in a small area. I would advise against buying in new sims that are mostly or completely for sale. All it takes is for one 512 to be converted to an ad farm and it can ruin the view as far as the draw distance can see. :(

Or even Battersea Power Station on the horizon (and in this case everyones horizon). At the start of the week I went up and took a series of panoramic pictures to preserve the views of Corsica, and I'm quite glad I did now. At a rough guess I'd say the views will have changed radically by this time next week..'snap em' while you can.
