Ok so I'm not sure when exactly this happened, but for the last few weeks I have noticed that anyone who is wearing pants looks like they have stretch pants/tights on. Basically I am not seeing any pant flareage at the ankles for some reason. At first I thought it was just my close friends and that they had started some tight pant fad without telling me. But now everyone with pants on looks like they could throw on some legwarmers and go pirouetting across the stage in a rehearsal of Swan Lake.

This strange pant phenomenon has continued through several updates and clearing of my cache and must be stopped. Is it just me or is anyone else seeing this?

After the latest update, when I went in, I noticed that my avatar looked like he was wearing tights, instead of jeans. When I focused, and moved the camera around to get a better look, to be sure, they fixed themselves.

I just hopped on to check. It drew me with tights, then as the prims got drawn in better, and I moved the camera back a bit further, it fixed them.

which has happened to me too many times

even had my shoe sit there on the floor as I walk away, then when I click it, it went o my butt...

SL doing too many strange things to my poor avi heh

Nope, seems to be SL-wide bug. I guess it's skinny jeans and calf/knee boots for the time being o.O;

We've noticed some other issues as well.. it also seems to affect shapes. We're all familiar with being "Ruthed".. well this one my Brother calles being "fatassed".. because apparrently my tushy reverts to the state it was in a few iterations ago.

His shape on the other hand, seems to revert oddly, with his head getting a bit larger than it should be, and part of the skull shows through the back of his furry AV.

And yes it's been about 1-2 updates since we started seeing this. Being random though, it's hard to report. And entering appearance doesn't seem to fix this issue.. ususally requires a relog.

Thanks for the info, this is a known bug — I'll request that it appears on our public Support: Known Issues page.

[UPDATE] We have this as an open issue. It actually happened a long time ago in 1.7 and has to do with “avatar mesh deformation” not being displayed correctly. Looks like it came back, but we know how to repro it (and I’ve successfully seen it for myself too).
