Is there a "pure suburbia sim (or island)" on SL? (By that, I mean: all houses look like variation of the other, as in a real suburbia... possibly, all plots come with a choice of prefab suburbia-like houses.)

Yes, there are a couple of them. Blumfield is the one that springs to mind immediately, I believe there is one right to it as well.

Shermerville

I bought my first land in Shermerville last spring. At that time it was all 512 lots with 4 or 5 different suburban style houses lined up along straight east/west/north/south streets. There was a even a park with a pool and playground. Last I was there the streets are still the same and the park, but most people have bought up several lots and the little suburban houses are gone.

Private Islands, but nonetheless very "suburbia" and well manicured neighborhoods - Lakeview Estates. Streets, sidewalks, no suspended junk above parcels, lots of Jack Feaver cookie cutter houses, some custom builds that still look like houses as opposed to the living quarters of George Jetson or Fred Flintstone..
