I'm currently setting up a business, and I'm losing out on necessary purchases because my transaction limit on the exchange has cut me off. Right now my limit is $150 USD, and I can't even Request a Review to increase my account limit. Apparently I am a few days shy of being "too new" a resident, to even submit a Request.
I need more Linden money ASAP. Business owner status would do it for me. Can someone please tell me how to upgrade my status (or suggest another way of getting my hands on a lot of Linden money?)
Many thanks in advance....

https://secondlife.com/currency/describe-limits.php Your limits will increase automaticly after your account is 30 days old. Until then you are in a probationary state and have reduced limits.

The limits are there to prevent people using stolen credit cards to buy loads of L$ and/or land, transferring them to other accounts, then disappearing. It's for your own protection really. $150 is a lot of money to spend on an 'unknown quantity', which being new, you're still no doubt trying to figure out what Second Life is and does (some that have been here a year are still trying to figure that out, so don't feel bad), and you may well look back in a month and wonder why you spent all that money on things that you've subsequently decided you didn't actually need, or could probably just have easily have made yourself now that you've worked out how the build tools work. You could, of course, just buy money from other sources than Lindex - at your own risk, of course, or be patient. Broccoli

From: Raven Ivanova or suggest another way of getting my hands on a lot of Linden money? Well known land barons and investment dealers are good sources for L$. Granted, it is a leap of faith since you deal person-to-person outside of SL, so tread carefuly. You can find these people in-world by asking around - I found the person I dealt with when I was buying a large plot of land and was referred to him by the seller. The person I was referred to (almost year ago) is a well-known investment dealer and land owner who is still doing business - I did not have any problems. You should know that the exchange rate may differ from the posted Lindex rate and you may have to enable certain features on your PayPal account to transfer the funds. Discuss these details and sort them out before entering into an agreement. -2fast

Also worth noting is that when you do post your request for review it will take at least 3 weeks for a result.
