Is anyone else having blue bands appear across their avie? Rebaking makes them go away only to reappear moments later.

According to the blog, all sorts of wacky stuff is going on with SL at the moment, so that is the most likely culprit. Looks to me like it's going to take a few days (at least) for this one to shake out...

I've had this problem for almost five weeks. Black and white bands, blue bands and now gray bands -- all across my face and body, with and without clothes. You can't and don't go out in the world cause everybody spends all night asking what's wrong with your face. Linden blew me off for weeks with the same useless tips over and over again and spam customer letters. The only useful tip I've gotten was from my skin designer. This works but it may take two or three tries: clear cache, close, reboot and rebake. It may take several tries but is does work at least temporarily.

I have gray bands now. I was given yet another set of things linden wants me to test and because its too technical for me, I have to hire someone to do it for me at more cost to me. I am convinced it's an inworld issue but I'm not a computer person, so I can't prove it, so I keep running the same tests over and over and they do nothing. I am very disappointed with the quality of customer service -- almost a month with this -- and still no resoultion. Everything worked fine in here for the first couple of week and then this issue.

Love SL but stuff like this really ruins the experience. Everytime I change clothes or skins, I have to worry about whether this problem is going to occur. very frustrating.

I've not been here for five weeks so don't know the history of SL version and specs but did read elsewhere that at last one person's graphics card was made obsolete by a version upgrade. Check the website's minimum specs?
It's only your face that's striped?
There's an avatar button in Preference/Graphics or Advance Graphics for detail level. Tried toggling this?

As of my last login the blue bands were no longer appearing on my face and body, just on my eyes and had rotated 90 degrees. This occured after yesterday's patch so it is related, I believe it is the latest version of the "Missing Texture" problem.

I have updated all my drivers and they are current. Did that when the trouble started and there are no new ones. My bands appear on the face, upper body and legs -- and then variations of that. Right now I have a gray stripe that runs around my head at ear level and gives my eyes cataracts.
