Shift in Land Use Fee Bill Cycle

I used to pay tier for my land on the 14th each month, now the tier is due on August 11th. Did anyone else notice such a shift?

Support told me the bill cycle was 28 days, but this contradicts the information from the land use fees page where it says 30 days.

If it's 28 days that means we get billed 13 times a year. Monthly should mean monthly.

Maybe they felt they should increase the cycle, as they should get more money in return for the exceptionally stellar service they've been providing lately?

Or, maybe voice costs a lot more than they thought it would?

Sorry - still on my 1st coffee and very bleary-eyed. I don't have anything useful to add. Maybe do another support ticket, and direct their attention to the published fee schedule?

Just checked mine and my next bill is due at the same point in the month as my last bill.

Don't apologise. I wish I could be that sarcastic first thing in the morning. I'm just glad I'm not drinking coffee at all right now because that first sentence would've had it coming out of my nose. :D

Mine is still on the 16th and has been since I started. If they make a chnage from monthly to every 4 weeks we will be paying 13.3 times a year instead of 12. Sneaky way to implement a tier increase. Just over a 10% increase. Just what business owners would need right now.

Now if they can just sneak in some fixes for the bugs we have had for the last 2 weeks.

Thanks for your input.

Since the website still states monthly and 30 days, I suppose it was a mistake - or I'm in a test program for installing the lunar calendar in SL.

They used to bill me on the 3rd of every month. In August, though, they didn't bill until the 4th and my September payment is now due on the 4th as well. That's the only shift I've seen.

I am bumping you to an 8.5 on the Official Trout Measuring Instrument of Sluttiness. You are an enigma - on the one hand a sweet, gentle, intelligent woman who we would like to wrap up in our arms and protect, and on the other, a temptress to whom we would like to do all sorts of unmentionable things.

Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut.
