Dearly Darlings,

Can some one give me little old lady directions for requesting a new feature? But let me fly this one past you first:

PG land Sex in Public auto-photo and eject for any one owning property in the same PG sim. I'm really getting tired of walking through Olympia Rebus' lovely sculpture and finding horrid German people having sex. I'm of German decent so I find this really disgusting. it's bad enough when they come into my home or my grandson's house...but public sex in PG land?! This truely makes my eye twitch.

I'd start by rewriting this so that it's clear what you mean. Don't be so terse. I had to read this three times just to figure out where the verb was, and I still can't tell whether you mean property owners do the ejecting or get ejected.

I'll propose this in JIRA, which is the issue tracker software that Linden Lab is using nowadays, if you like. Or, if you want to wade through JIRA, don't forget to log in to suggest a new feature.

Feature requests go to the Jira tool here: http://jira.secondlife.com

However, while the feature you're requesting could certainly be useful in the kind of situation you're explaining, my gut tells me its probably something Linden wouldn't take seriously due to the potential for abuse

I think the best thing you can do in this sort of situation, is try diplomacy, then file an abuse report.

Perhaps these folks are new residents that just don't understand the english-written rules. If this is happening frequently, maybe use babelfish or google translate to come up with some pre-written german text, such as:

"Excuse me for interrupting, but public sex isn't allowed in this region. If you don't go elsewhere, I'll have to abuse report you."

"Mich für das Unterbrechen entschuldigen, aber allgemeines Geschlecht wird nicht in diesem Bereich erlaubt. Wenn du nicht anderwohin gehst, werde ich gezwungen, Report zu mißbrauchen du. "

Uhm... Babelfish claims to be able to translate, but it isn't

Alas, so far it's impossible to translate a text using software. "Safe and sound" becomes "vault and audio" in the target language, "screen resolution" turns into a political decision, and "the phone rings" is treated the same way as "the wedding rings".

In this case, the translation software made some funny errors by translating "public sex" as "public gender" and taking "abuse" for a verb ("to abuse a report"

, aside from torturing the grammar. I'd translate it as:

"Entschuldigt die Störung, aber öffentlicher Sex ist in PG Regionen nicht erlaubt. Bitte sucht euch einen anderen Ort, ansonsten bin ich gezwungen den Vorfall zu melden."
