I'm always having this problem - i click 'download' or the other link - on the transaction history page - and a new page starts loading and ends up just being blank - no download happens. I am using a Mac OSX 10.4.10 and have this problem with both Safari and Firefox.
Specifically - right now this happens with the file for the 11th July and 9th of July - I can download today's (12th) just fine! (i am just waiting for the 11th July page to load but it's too slow so i've given up!)
Do LL just forget to post the actual downloads? Or is it just me?
Thx!

i dl my transaction history every day and not had any recent problems. As soon as I click 'download' the box pops up asking me if I want to open the file or save to disk etc just as you would expect. So I think the problem is with you rather than the site.

From: Semolina Semaphore Do LL just forget to post the actual downloads? The excel spreadsheet you download is not something LL has to post. It is generated dynamically when you request it, based on the options selected (start day, end day, show L$0 transactions). It's possible that there is some glitch in the data for one of the problem days that is somehow interfering with the creation of the excel spreadsheet. If you can still get the data on the HTML page, you should save or print that. That way you still have the record, and can manually enter it in a spreadsheet if you need to.

I had this problem a few months ago, even posted here but no one could help. The problem lasted about a week, then suddenly corrected itself. That's SL for ya.

I found the way to overcome this issue, is to fistly choose the To and From dates, then click 'View over 500' then when that opens, then click the download excel sheet. If thats what you are doing and it doen't work.. then it must be your end. Check to see you haven't excluded excel format files from being downloaded in IE.

I too had this problem. Don't click on the button that say's 'Download'. Instead click on the 'hyper link' to the right of it AFTER selecting the date range.

From: Aleister Montgomery Excel can import HTML files. True, but they have to formatted properly. Have you tried that with the current format of the Transactions page? I never tried because it looked full of some extraneous garbage. Who knows, maybe it works!
