Are there content creator groups?

I'd like to find some content creator groups, to talk to their leaders about forming a new community project, aimed at reducing the likelihood of another CopyBot. Specifically, I want to create a "Better Business Bureau" type of group that can put their stamp of approval on third-party SL interface applications (stuff that uses HTTP, XML-RPC, or libSecondLife to talk to SL).

The goal is to try to build better relations with third party developers and help develop applications that are ToS and Copyright compliant.

If you belong to such a group, could you contact me? If you know of such a group, could you have the leaders contact me? That would be a great help.

Thanks
-Tom

There's the Sellers Guild.

I'm not in it, but I've heard of it.

I know there is a Better Business Bureau. But I haven't heard much about them in a long time now.
