Hi all,

Im sorry but I find the buy/sell limits a bit confusing. I bought some yesterday and wanted to try again. But apperently I have to wait 24hrs or 30 days? Thats a bit confusing.

Does this basically mean I can't buy new L's?

If you are less than a week old, you have to wait a bit to buy more lindens

After one month you get a good amount to buy and sell, 2500 US dollars per month.

The limits are on a rolling average, daily for business accounts and monthly for reguular residents.

I think the limits are for fraud protection.

well that sucks, that means Im broke for the next 30 days lol

I only bought 10 US dollars yesterday which was like 2580 L's
and since Im new, I made some mistakes with what I bought and stuff...

meh, stayed up for nothing...thought it was 24hrs

I think you get an increase after one week too

Up to 250 US dollars I think.

I just wanted to do another 10 us dollars

Can you not use another site to buy them? Like SLexchange maybe?

I don't know, I'd rather not spread my cc info all over the net, just for 10 dollars... Im just a bit disappointed now lol cause I needed the money haha

Hehe. I know what you mean about the CC details. But SLexchange are pretty good and appear to be secure. I honestly don't know if it will work though

I see your limits are down to 15 dollars, and the minimum you can recharge your account by credit card is 25 dollars which, unfortunately, is over you limit for right now.

You should get more at the one week mark.

Ok, the purchase amount is the amount that you can put in with credit cards per month and take out by check or paypal.

Once the dollars are in the account, you use the lindex purchase amount, which by your information is 0 dollars. So you can't buy anymore lindens right now.

Can I ask how old you are? I mean when did you open your Second life account?

Anyway if you look in your account page on this website and look at the links on the left, you will see a linden trading limits link. If you click on that, you will see the amounts you can buy and sell. It also show when you get increases.

Actually, I have the very same problem, and I know I havnt sold enough the last month, everything is set to $0, doesnt anyone else have the same problems aswell?
Now im having difficulties to sell the L$ needed to get the $ I need to pay the rent of my land :/ *panics*
