Voice and First Look..............

Installed it yesterday and then found what appears to be the "only" place in SL that people are using it. Ahern !!

I would like to use it on my own land but despite having the blue icon we have no white dots ?? Before I bother Lindens with this am I missing something? Do I have a switch to flick somewhere?

I can TP to Xcite and I have a dot, go home and no dot ?

Not all regions are enabled . They do enable regions on a daily basis. This is still in beta stage and final testing is underway by enabling these regions. you can use this page on SL website http://secondlife.com/voicemap/ to check on a daily basis if your region has this ability.. . Soon Final release will be out and all regions will be able to turn it on

disable voice in the land options, wait a few seconds and then set it to private spatial channel and wait for a few while in initializes

You have to enable voice the first time via preferences. I used it on my land last night. I didn't have the white dot until I'd enabled it via my preferences.

Have the same problem on many voice enabled lands............the voice dot goes,but if TP back to Ahern reappears.

If you "remove" SLVoiceAgent in your firewall..............then TP to to a problem land,,,you will be asked if allowed. The only thing is you have to do this each time....yes report it in jira.secondlife.com as many of us seem to be having the same problem.
