Is there any way I can know who paid me and for what if they do so while I'm offline?

Yes, on this website, under Your Account/ Transaction History

IMs and Group Notices get sent to my email when I am offline, and then they pop up on my screen when my avatar comes back inworld as well (actually, after they have gone to my email, I would prefer to not have to read them all *again* when I go inworld.)

But for some reason, even though if you are inworld, you get a message on your screen that you have been paid, that message is not sent to your email if you are offline, and it does not appear to you when you log in again.

I for one am a little confused about this. If they can do it with IMs and Group Notices, why not for money received? It's a bit of a pain to have to keep checking my history on the website outworld, to see what I was paid, by whom, and from where.

Am I missing something, or is it just not possible to receive the money notices?

As far as I can tell, you aren't missing anything, because it's simply not there to find. Or at least I haven't found it yet.

There are some fantastic vendor makers out there that have their vendors email you or IM you if a sale occurs though them, to make up for this lack.
