Forums are boggy, but in-world is running VERY smooth.

Running great, except I keep trying to get out of a group chat with some idiot wanting a TP and other people trying to figure out what they're talking out, and the window reopens EVERY SINGLE TIME someone types something.

Forums are nearly unusable.

I was unable to search the map earlier today.

My attempt to abuse report the owner of an "AHH" noisemaker at Sandbox Island took a bit longer than it should because the owner showed as (hippos) continuously.

Teleporting into Morris with 22 people worked ok. Someone had missing image textures upon my arrival.

Seems normal, which for me would mean rubberbanding when trying to build, long delays saving and running scripts, scripts reverting to old behavior, gray textures that last way too long.

Been running great for me, had a small glitch TPing but I think the target sim was full. Other than that I'd certainly never have guessed over 40,000 concurrent users.

I just logged out after some playtime, and all I noticed was that some of my toys fail to rez their poseballs. Been quite an issue in my sim lately, at any time of day, so it has probably nothing to do with the grid performance. Aside fom that, everything ran smooth. Teleports were no problem.

Only issue I encountered this afternoon (SLT) was that region crossing was a pain.. every sim border I traversed resulted in my fragile avatar being flung half across the sim in the usual, unstoppable, exorcist sortof way. I was in the mood for exploring. Bad day for that I guess. Ban lines, Pay to cross lines, lagged region handoffs, bleh.

The land search doesn't sort by column now, that might be reducing the load at LL's end. And we lost our ratings, which did reduce the load at the server end of the process. Have other things gone by the by in the cause of handling more users? I don't recall at the moment.

LL did say recently that they had set up a database at another site which would ease the load at peak times. About 2 weeks ago, many of us had our assets transfered', later they stated that they were having problems with the link between the databases and had replaced some hardware. So I guess they have that sorted out now :D

I thought LL said they'd fixed this on the last update. How infuriating is closing the SAME window repeatedly?? Grrr!

AND: not only when anyone types anything but also every single instance of someone 'leaving the session'!!!!!

All is good

Hi all,

I don't remember when this thread was started but I've been on line last saturday for 11 hours (I know, I'm hooked!!!) and I've had only 1 crash and everything went smoothly!!! :D After (the only 1 time) I crashed I saw the number off on line people was 40K+ and I went back on line in no time. TP-ing was a little slower than usual but it went just fine.

Some people didn't rezz so good, but that was a problem of the area being full I think.

So maybe it's getting better... *keeps his fingers crossed*

Kiss,

Camden

So far, same as always: sometimes good, sometimes terrible, not predictable (by me, anyway).
