New ATI Catalyst 7.1 Drivers for Vista with OpenGL

Thats right, ATI released new drivers for anyone interested in trying them out. So far despite the fact that SecondLife now no longer says "hey you don't have a compatible graphics card" (paraphrase), I still can't seem to get in. Now its crashing and sending a report so at least its a step in the right direction.

Has anyone else tried the new Vista ATI drivers yet? Any combination of settings get SL to run correctly?

Just tried them on my vista install.

ATi X800.

Detects hardware.
Loads the main window
Crashes :(

Havent worked a way round it yet
