What consitutes mainland? What specifically is considered such?

I live on a large (multiple sim) chunk of land off the coast of the large, old continent. It's where sims like Chagall, Dali, Hundertwasser, Nimrod Yaffle, Raziel Vesperia, etc. It is bordered by water, but I believe some of them are 'water sims'. Is dat mainland?

I always thought anything that's mainland is anything that is not an island...so yes, I think that's mainland...

I could definitely be wrong ;)

Mainland is anywhere you own land and pay tier to LL that isn't your own private sim.

Anywhere the Covenant tab in About Land shows (none) as Estate Owner is mainland.

The easiest way to identify mainland is to bring up the map and zoom way out. See those three clusters of $ signs? Those are the mainland continents.
